Vinay M. Reddy, M.D.

Dr.  Vinay Reddy is a board certified Physiatrist who specializes in spine and nerve disorders.   He founded the Spine and Nerve Diagnostic Center in 2003 with the goal of building an institution dedicated to providing hope, education, compassion and treatment for spine pain sufferers.  Today, the Spine and Nerve Diagnostic Center treats over 2500 individuals a year.   Dr.  Reddy's professional interests include electrodiagnosis, neuromodulation, and interventional spine procedures.   He is the medical director of the Spine and Nerve Diagnostic Center's Interventional Spine Division.   He performs over 700 electrodiagnostic studies a year and over 1500 fluoroscopically guided spinal injections a year. Dr. Reddy has worked as a pain consultant for a number of pharmaceutical and biomedical companies and has given lectures on pain and spine disorders nationally.   He is married and has two children.

 Ethelynda T. Jaojoco, M.D.
 

Dr. Ethelynda Jaojoco is a board certified Physiatrist who has extensive experience in Pain Management and Musculoskeletal Disorders. She was born and raised in the Philippines. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy as well as her medical degree in the Philippines. She moved to the United States in 1994. She practiced as a physical therapist for three years and then proceeded to complete her residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, Ohio.  She joined Dr. Reddy in 2007.  Her background as a physical therapist enables her to assist her patients in returning to a functional level. She understands the complexity of chronic pain and she hopes to help her patients to get control back into their lives by controlling pain. Her experience working with spinal cord injury patients, stroke patients and brain injury patients has expanded her understanding of disability and this experience gives her a different perspective in treating patients who are affected by chronic pain. She enjoys travel, cardio kickboxing, step aeobics and boot camp. She also enjoys spending time with and educating her two sons.

Karen D. Cain, PA-C

Karen Cain is a Sacramento native with extensive experience in pain management. After earning her Physician Assistant degree in Southern California, Karen returned to the Sacramento area and worked in pain management from 2001 through 2004.   In 2004, she joined the Spine and Nerve Diagnostic Center and became the first medical provider to join Dr. Vinay Reddy. In 2007, Karen spear-headed the creation of our Roseville office.  Karen is the director of day to day operations at the Spine and Nerve Diagnostic Center's Roseville campus. She lives in Roseville and is married and has 2 sons. She enjoys spending time with her family and attending church.

Julie J. Stackhouse, PA-C

Julie Stackhouse is a board certified Physician Assistant who has worked with Dr. Reddy since 2006.   She spent 5 years in Primary Care Medicine before joining the Spine and Nerve Diagnostic Center.   Since that time, she has become an integral part of the Spine and Nerve team.   Julie has combined her primary care background in metabolic disorders and medication pain management with physiatry to bring a holistic approach to the treatment of spine disorders.   Professionally, Julie has a passion for teaching and an interest in multimodal treatment of pain.  She is a Sacramento native who graduated from Sacramento High School.  In Julie’s spare time, she enjoys outdoor activities, playing music, and is part of a local band.

Jacie C. Touart, PA-C

Jacie Touart is a board certified physician assistant.  She is the most recent addition to the Spine and Nerve Diagnostic Center family.   Jacie has broad experience in pain management which has spanned 8 years and has covered multiple parts of our country.  Her professional career has taken her to Pennsylvania, Georgia and California.  Her interests include neuromodulation and the management of complex pain syndromes.   She enjoys travel, piano, sports, and outdoor activities.  She is married and lives in the greater Sacramento area.  She is an avid Pittsburgh Steeler Fan.
